Warning regarding fraudulent activities referring abusively to the Luxembourg bank Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat Luxembourg

The CSSF draws the attention of the public to the fact that pictures of branches of the duly authorised credit institution incorporated under Luxembourg law, Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat Luxembourg, are fraudulently used on social media such as Facebook, in advertisements for financing and investment offers, including granting loans to private individuals. It should be noted that Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat Luxembourg is not related to these fraudulent websites.
