Warning concerning a fraud scheme misusing the name of the Luxembourg authorised bank Quintet Private Bank (Europe) S.A.

The CSSF draws the attention of the public to a fraud scheme in which the name of the bank authorised in Luxembourg, Quintet Private Bank (Europe) S.A., and of its employees and management bodies are being misused. The fraudsters contact people via telephone in order to offer them an investment product named “Vision”. The subscription documents are subsequently sent to the people concerned via a false email address that includes the name of the bank. The persons concerned are then invited to wire funds to a bank account that is not managed by Quintet Private Bank (Europe) S.A.

The CSSF informs that the Luxembourg bank Quintet Private Bank (Europe) S.A. does not offer such a product to its clients.
