IOSCO World Investor Week

The IOSCO World Investor Week will take place this week. In this context, the CSSF published an animated video on the risks associated with crypto-assets.

The International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) is celebrating its seventh annual World Investor Week (WIW) from 2 to 8 October 2023. The number of WIW participating countries keeps increasing, underscoring the need for financial education to enhance retail investor protection worldwide.

The IOSCO WIW 2023 will focus on several themes, among which the risks associated with crypto-assets, sustainable finance, frauds and scams prevention and investor resilience, which the IOSCO Board has identified as particularly relevant given the current economic environment. In Luxembourg, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), as a member of IOSCO, supports the Word Investor Week and will publish, on this occasion, the key messages of the WIW on its website dedicated to financial education, www.letzfin.lu, as well as on the lëtzfin Facebook and Instagram pages and on the CSSF’s social media platforms.

In celebration of the WIW 2023 and in order to raise awareness and inform the public on the risks associated with crypto-assets, lëtzfin published an animated video.
