In order to ensure an accurate and swift handling of any inquiry, please consider the below recommendations depending on the case.
For any inquiry in reply to a letter from the CSSF, please address the inquiry primarily to the contact person mentioned in the letter or alternatively to the left hand signatory of the letter.
The inquiry should provide in Re:
An inquiry should only refer to one single application at a time.
For any inquiry in reply to an e-file message from the CSSF, please address your inquiry by using the same procedure than the one used for transmitting our e-file message.

For any inquiry in reply to an email from the CSSF, please address your inquiry primarily to the sender of the email with a mandatory copy sent to opc@cssf.lu.
The inquiry should be made by using Reply Mail with History (without modification of our RE).

For more general inquiries in relation to a specific file under examination and that need a direct communication over phone, please contact primarily the responsible officer in charge of the examination of the application. The name of that officer examining your file has been transmitted to you with the acknowledgement of receipt of your application.
Where it is required to escalate a specific inquiry in relation to a specific file under examination that cannot be solved with the officer in charge, please contact or direct your inquiry to the Head of Division of the officer in charge of the examination of your file. The name of that Head of Division may be determined by viewing the list of the staff members in the phone directory of the CSSF.
In case you face a more critical issue or urgent problem to handle a file under examination, please send an email to opc@cssf.lu – Re: Urgent coordination issue, and describe your concern(s) and circumstances in respect of the case in the text of your email.
