Other specific authorisations, registrations and information

Different specific authorisations/registrations can be provided in Luxembourg to investment funds:

• European Long-Term Investment Funds (ELTIFs) provide finance of lasting duration to various infrastructure projects, unlisted companies, or listed small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
• Money Market Funds (MMFs) are UCITS or AIFs investing in short-term assets whose objective is offering returns comparable to those of the money market and/or preserving the value of the investment
• European Venture Capital Funds (EuVECAs) focus on start-ups and early stage companies
• European Social Entrepreneurship Funds (EuSEFs) focus on social enterprises with the explicit aim to have a positive social impact and address social objectives, rather than only maximising profit
