Tied agents

Management companies based in Luxembourg and authorised to provide additional services (“management companies”) in accordance with Article 101(3)(a) and (b) of the Law of 17 December 2010 relating to undertakings for collective investment (“2010 Law”) that intend to use a tied agent established in Luxembourg, in another EU Member State or in another State party to the EEA Agreement in accordance with Article 112bis of the 2010 Law, are required to notify the CSSF. The relevant forms, which are available for download below under “Forms”, shall be sent to the CSSF via email to gfi@cssf.lu as well as to the agent responsible for the management company, if known.

Similarly, management companies are required to notify the CSSF in writing of any changes to the initial notifications or the cessation of the use of a tied agent. The relevant form shall be sent to the CSSF via email to gfi@cssf.lu and to the agent responsible for the management company, if known.
